The sun was shining and we had around 150 people float with us. Senator Gail Schwartz couldn't make it this year. She sent this letter to share with us. Much thanks to all the captians and volunteers, without you this event wouldn't be possible.

9th Annual River Awareness Float
With nice weather and great flows, Saturday May 12th, 2007 was a great day for the 210 people who floated from the Paonia River Park to Hotchkiss. Boaters checked out NFRIA’s 6 ½ miles of restoration projects along the 11 mile float. There was enough water to provide some fun and most everyone got wet!
Thank you to Sweet Sunny South who provided the after float entertainment and to the Hotchkiss Future Farmers of America who provided the lovely lunch.

River Festival Night
